The aim of CHOPIN project (Closed-Loop Human-Centered Observation and Prediction of Individual Neurophysiology and Emotion) prepared to by submitted in Horizon Europe Pathfinder Open programme open call is development of an advanced AI model enabling better understanding of the music’s effect on human emotions.

Scope of activities
Winning the project in the Eurogrants competition enabled 7bulls.com to cover the costs of preparing a Eurogrant application under Horizon Europe, acronym CHOPIN. As part of these activities, the company was responsible for selected research and development tasks, including:

• preparation of parts of the project application,
• delivering a specialized, multi-faceted external analysis crucial for determining the project’s potential impact,
• planning of preliminary communication and dissemination strategy.

Target groups

The results developed within the CHOPIN project are intended particularly for:

• music professionals and neuroscientists,
• companies and institutions interested in bio-adaptive music technology.

Project outcomes

The outcomes of the CHOPIN Eurogrant will be development of a generalized AI model enabling the deepening of knowledge about how music affects emotions. The results of the CHOPIN project will allow the creation of personalized musical experiences, which could find widespread application in various spheres of social and economic life, such as education, health, sport, entertainment and business. For the 7bulls, grant beneficiary, the project's outcome will be the strengthening of its expert position in the fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning. The company will gain the opportunity to develop its competencies in data analysis and predictive modeling, which will result in the ability to deliver innovative solutions, increasing the company competitiveness. Furthermore, the technology may find application in future projects, supporting the development of new products and services for clients in Poland and on international markets.
