OVERVIEW

StreamIt is a startup technology provider building a platform for content owners who need to launch streaming services quickly, without taking on the operational and financial risk of running their own infrastructure. We designed and delivered a multi-tenant, white-label platform for StreamIt, combining advertisement-based monetization with an integrated loyalty system (TVCoins). The platform removed the operational and technical overhead typically associated with launching video services.

By standardizing core capabilities while allowing tenant-level customization, it significantly reduced time-to-market for new streaming services. The solution supports automated deployment across mobile, web, and connected TV platforms, along with end-to-end content management and integrated analytics. For customers, it delivers a personalized viewing experience supported by loyalty-driven engagement.

At the platform level, this includes self-service branding, automated deployment of applications for iOS, Android, Tizen CTV, and web, full content lifecycle management (ingestion, transcoding, packaging), tenant management, and integrations with major ad servers. On the consumer side, the platform delivers a fully functional video player, personalization features, and a TVCoins-based loyalty mechanism.

StreamIt approached us with three primary challenges:

Launch a production-ready, scalable OTT platform quickly, without building infrastructure from scratch.
Handle highly variable, tenant-driven traffic spikes while maintaining predictable performance.
Enable deep tenant-level customization (branding, apps, analytics, monetization, loyalty), all while keeping the underlying architecture unified and maintainable.

Addressing these challenges simultaneously ruled out incremental or tenant-specific solutions and required a platform architecture that could scale, isolate risk, and remain operable as the ecosystem grew.

Early platform stability was critical to onboarding new providers, making predictable performance and tenant isolation essential from the first production deployments.

The platform supports large-scale audiences through a serverless architecture and has onboarded 40+ content providers, each operating with isolated configurations for branding, analytics, and monetization. New, fully branded OTT platforms can be deployed within hours or days, significantly reducing time to market.

In addition to scalable delivery, the platform enables loyalty-driven user engagement through the integrated TVCoins mechanism, supporting retention and monetization strategies across tenants. Built on a microservices architecture and AWS native services, the solution delivers predictable performance under uneven traffic while maintaining efficient operational cost control.
